The Fisherman Federation is a country in Southeast Australia and Northern New Zealand. i thin no, the strait width between FF and AUS probably is 1 to 10 km. you can see at the madura's island. theres a bridge in then with length of 5 km right? and the ship can pass though the madura strait, right?

in the world, we use a very very big scale. you can see at other Straits like Gibraltar strait, the strait in the map is very narrow but in real life the strait is very wide.

if you see the shortest point from Java and Sumatra above, the length is 30 km. how about the longest point? maybe over 100 km.
